Principal Consultant and founder
Dr. Ismail Imam is the principal consultant and founder of LabbConsult. He received his bachelor’s and doctoral degrees in Clinical Laboratory Science from Rutgers University in New Jersey. He has been MLS ASCP-certified since 2014 and is licensed as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) in both New York and California. He has been a CAP inspector on numerous occasions.
Starting off as a generalist MLS, he advanced to team lead, supervisor, and manager roles. Expertise are mainly in the general clinical pathology laboratory area (All Sections), Quality, method validation, clinical chemistry, Regulatory, LIS, EPIC builds and training.
